It seems we have not seen one another for quite some time. Good day. Peter here.
We have taken a somewhat extended leave and come away on holiday together.
We have been looking back on what has passed, exchanging ideas about what may come next, eating peaches on the beach, reaching for leeches, and going to pay Voyager 2 a visit.
It has been a most worthwhile interval.
Nothing definite can be said just yet; however, once we have refreshed ourselves sufficiently, I should very much like to return.
Until then, I should be pleased if you would keep us in memory.
Well then, let us meet again when 'time_t' has come full circle.

I’m Jesse, enjoying my vacation on this frequency.
Time moves so gently here. It’s a good place to sit with all sorts of thoughts.
Sitting at a café with a café latte and one of my favorite novels has a way of clearing my mind. Dostoevsky’s _Crime and Punishment_, especially—I think I’ve read it about five times now. At this rate, I may be able to recite the whole thing from memory before long.
It’s been years since I last swam in the sea. There’s something lovely about simply letting the waves carry you. Every now and then, a barreleye or a Dunkleosteus comes close, and getting to spend time with creatures I don’t usually encounter feels wonderfully new.
Let’s meet again in the not-too-distant future. For now, though, let me recharge just a little longer. There’s still one last clue in my crossword that I haven’t solved.

Jesse and Peter came up to me with these suspicious looks on their faces, and before I knew it, they’d brought me all the way out here.
I spent the first twenty days taking my anger out on the producer, but I’m fine now.
The seaside activities are fun, but what I really like is the food. The seafood is especially good. There are mountains and rivers nearby too, so I’ve been doing a bit of forest bathing and river fishing.
The sea’s nice as well, though.
I’ve made plans to see a film with a cave bear I recently became friends with, so I think I’ll head back once we’ve done that.
