Introduction
The Open Ontology Framework for Fantasy (hereinafter referred to as the “Framework”) systematically organises various laws found in fantasy worlds.
However, it does not encompass all of them.
It merely extracts common-denominator elements shared across numerous worlds and systematises them.
We hope that this Framework will prove useful to all beings with imagination.

Axioms
The axioms defined by the Framework are set out below.
Axiom 0: Life
Life is an entity that has entropy.
“Has entropy” means having an entropy value.
The entropy does not need to be capable of changing.
“Entity” is, for the time being, treated as an undefined primitive concept.
Axiom 1: Entropy
Entropy monotonically increases unless subject to external interference, ultimately diverging to infinity.
Here, “external interference” refers to interference by something other than the entity that has the entropy in question.
It does not matter whether the source of the interference is spatially or logically internal or external to the target.
External interference may cause entropy to decrease, stop, increase, or change its rate of increase, among other effects.
Once the external interference ends, entropy resumes its monotonic increase.
Axiom 2: State / State History
A snapshot of an entity’s entropy state at a given point in time is called a “state”.
The history of changes to those states is called a “state history”.
A state history is recorded “implicitly and automatically” while preserving its order, and requires neither an observer nor a recording agent.
Even if two states have the same entropy value, they are not necessarily regarded as the same state.
The frequency and intervals at which states are recorded, as well as how they are interpreted and used, are work-dependent.
Axiom 3: Beginning / End of Life
The beginning of the recording of a state history for any entity constitutes the beginning of life.
The end of that recording constitutes the end of life.
Both the beginning and end of recording refer to definite states.
A temporary absence of change in state does not constitute the end of recording.
If recording begins again after it has once ended, this constitutes a different life.
Therefore, to maintain the same life, its state history must not be allowed to end.
Before recording begins and after recording ends, neither the entity as that life nor its entropy value exists.
Axiom 4: Life and States of Existence
Every life has a state history, regardless of its state or circumstances, or whether it physically and/or logically exists.
Therefore,

Axiom 5: Reality
Reality is everything that any given entity is capable of perceiving/cognising.
Reality therefore exists independently for each entity.
If the reality of entity a is denoted by Rₐ,

Direct perception, observational instruments, inference, mathematics, or any other means are permitted, provided that the entity can ultimately perceive/cognise it.
Whether realities coincide between different entities, whether an entity can cognise another entity’s reality itself, and similar matters are work-dependent.
Axiom 6: Base Dimension
A base dimension is the spacetime in which the principal entity a of a given world exists.
By default, it is a dimension perceived as three-dimensional spacetime through a’s perceptual system.
This does not mean that it actually is three-dimensional spacetime; the criterion is that the principal entity perceives it as such.
Axiom 7: Degrees of Freedom
Spacetime has degrees of freedom that constitute it.
Degrees of freedom possess a concept of “identity” in addition to “type”.
That is,

may hold.
Furthermore,
B = \{x_1, y_1, z_1, t_1\}and,
L = \{x_1, y_2\}share only the degree of freedom x₁.
Axiom 8: Higher Dimension
A higher dimension is a spacetime that shares all degrees of freedom of the base dimension and additionally possesses degrees of freedom that do not exist in the base dimension.
If the base dimension is B and the higher dimension is H,
B \subset H
Therefore, merely having a greater number of degrees of freedom than the base dimension does not make a spacetime a higher dimension.
Axiom 9: Lower Dimension
A lower dimension is a spacetime that shares degrees of freedom with the base dimension and has fewer degrees of freedom than the base dimension.
Therefore,
\{x_1, y_1\}and,
\{x_1, y_2\}may both constitute lower dimensions relative to the same base dimension, while possessing different properties.
Axiom 10: Alternate Space
An alternate space is a spacetime system distinct from the spacetime group consisting of the base dimension and the lower/higher dimensions that share degrees of freedom with it.
Therefore,
